Please read these terms carefully before placing an order with PackagingPapa.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern all orders placed with PackagingPapa Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales. By placing an order, you ("the Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

- "Proofs" means digital or physical samples sent to the Customer for approval before production.

2 Ordering & Acceptance
2.1 All orders are subject to our written acceptance. An order is only confirmed once we issue a written order confirmation and/or invoice.
2.2 Minimum order quantities apply as stated on our website or in individual quotations. The standard minimum is 50 units.
2.3 We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason, including orders that contain unlawful, offensive, or infringing content.
2.4 Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Pricing may vary after this period.
3 Artwork & Design
3.1 The Customer is responsible for supplying artwork in print-ready format (PDF, AI, or EPS at 300 dpi minimum) or for commissioning our design service.
3.2 We will produce a digital proof for Customer approval before production commences. Production will not begin until written approval is received.
3.3 The Customer is solely responsible for proofreading all artwork, copy, and specification details. PackagingPapa accepts no liability for errors in approved proofs.
3.4 Colour representations on screen may differ from printed output. Exact colour matching requires specification of Pantone reference numbers. CMYK printing may produce slight colour variations (within ISO 12647-2 tolerance), which are not considered defects.
3.5 By supplying artwork, the Customer warrants that they own or have appropriate licences to use all included intellectual property, including images, fonts, and logos.
4 Pricing & Payment
4.1 All prices are in GBP (£) and exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT will be added at the prevailing rate.
4.2 For new customers, full payment is required before production commences. Established accounts may apply for credit terms (net 30) subject to approval.
4.3 Accepted payment methods: bank transfer (BACS), debit/credit card, or PayPal. Card payments incur no surcharge.
4.4 Late payment will incur statutory interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 at 8% above the Bank of England base rate.
4.5 Pricing is based on quantities, specifications, and materials quoted. Any changes to the specification after order confirmation may result in a revised price.
5 Production & Lead Times
5.1 Standard lead time is 5–7 Working Days from artwork approval and payment clearance. Expedited production (3 Working Days) is available at a premium — enquire at time of order.
5.2 Lead times are estimates only. We will notify you promptly of any production delays. We are not liable for delays caused by force majeure events, material shortages, or factors beyond our reasonable control.
5.3 Production will not commence until artwork is approved in writing and full payment (or agreed deposit) is received.
6 Delivery
6.1 We offer free standard delivery to UK mainland addresses on all orders. Deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland, and Channel Islands may incur a surcharge.
6.2 Delivery dates provided are estimates. PackagingPapa is not liable for delays caused by the courier or circumstances beyond our control.
6.3 Risk in the Goods passes to the Customer on delivery. Title to the Goods passes to the Customer upon receipt of full payment.
6.4 The Customer must inspect Goods upon delivery and report any visible damage to the courier and to us within 48 hours of receipt.
7 Quality & Complaints
7.1 We are committed to producing packaging to the standard agreed in your approved proof and order specification.
7.2 Industry standard tolerances apply: ±3mm on cutting, ±5% on colour (CMYK), and ±10% on quantity.
7.3 Complaints regarding quality, print defects, or incorrect items must be raised in writing within 7 Working Days of delivery, accompanied by photographic evidence.
7.4 Where we accept a valid complaint, our liability is limited to (at our discretion): a reprint of the affected items, a credit note, or a partial/full refund. We will not be liable for any consequential losses.
8 Returns & Cancellations
8.1 As all Goods are custom-manufactured to your specification, they are non-returnable unless they are defective or we have made an error (see clause 7).
8.2 Cancellations must be made in writing. Where production has commenced, a cancellation fee will apply to cover materials and labour costs incurred up to that point.
8.3 If artwork approval has not yet been given, orders may be cancelled without penalty, subject to any design fees incurred.
9 Intellectual Property
9.1 The Customer retains all intellectual property rights in artwork, logos, and designs they supply to us.
9.2 PackagingPapa retains intellectual property rights in any original designs or artwork created by our design team. Upon full payment, a licence is granted to the Customer to use such designs for packaging purposes.
9.3 We may use photographs of completed orders for our portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless the Customer requests otherwise in writing at the time of order.
10 Limitation of Liability
10.1 Our total liability to the Customer in connection with any order shall not exceed the value of that order.
10.2 We are not liable for indirect, special, or consequential losses including lost profits, business interruption, or reputational damage.
10.3 Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
11 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
